A spell of fine weather, a couple of trips out, and I'm beginning to feel the stirrings of that Guzzi biker that have laid dormant for well over a decade.
The bevel drive still leaks, but not much, and seems to get less every trip. Evidence of overfilling? But I measured the fill up exactly, NB says it left the workshop dry.
Checked all the carb internal specs, having lost track of exactly what combination of jets I am running now.
Here's the summary
Col 1 - as returned from NBS but with needle down one notch from centre
Col 2 - as tested today - no good, no pick up under load, engine just dies
Col 3 - returned to previous setting
Best leave well alone, bike flies from 3000 up to 5000 rpm in fourth.
After 15 mile circuit
Ignore streaks, not oil
