Pinging day, perfect for a test run for the repaired drive box
Unfortunately a 12 mile ride proved too much for it
Seems to be leaking at all possible points of egress
Nigel very perplexed, but is sending up a replacement from a clean running bike.
Post script
It would have helped if I'd tightened up the drain and level plugs!
But
A further test drive proved conclusive - oil still leaking from the spindle housing

Final Drive Re-fit
21 Feb 2019
Bevel box returned from NBS. Nigel reported that the problem was something to do with the casing rather than the seals. He said he'd been able to fix it, (the explaination lost me I'm afraid) and had also replaced the seals checking the drive spindle for wear as well. He'd refilled it with low viscosity oil and left it a few days, no sign of any leak. All F.O.C
Re-fitted to the bike and oil added today.
Also Nigel helpfully loaned a tap to fit the s/arm spindle threads, used this to restore the threads, now able to properly equalise the stubs either side. Tick!
